This chair is great for the price. I've have researched EVERY possible glider under $300 and this is the best by far. I even purchased and returned 2 other chairs! The construction is sturdy, it's very comfortable, quiet (except for a small creak) east to assemble, and I think the best chair for the price. It seems you get what you pay for when it comes to these chairs..but anythiong over $300 is insane...this is the chair to go with!!!

I find the chair easy to assemble and its use to be practical.My son enjoys the time we spend together on the relaxing glider. I like that I can lock the glider into place when I am not using it to reduce the chance of my son hurting himself. however, the ottoman doesn't lock (?) which is dangerous because its easy for a limb to be caught in it. So, I wouldn't be able to use it because I can't keep it out in the open and risk an injury. Also, I wish I had inquired about the dimensions of the chair more because my head barely rests on the back of the chair & my husband's head goes over the top of the back of the chair! I am only 5'6''. I like the glider but not the ottoman...wish I could lock it and have a foot rest as an option while nursing.

        This glider is soo comfy! My husband and I did alot of research before buying and overall I'm pretty happy with our purchase. The only complaint I have is that it does not recline like it says it does. You can lock the chair in a semi-reclined position which is almost good enough.

            We have been quite pleased with this purchase. After an exhaustive search we chose this rocker for it's look and comfort. The padding in the seat and back are great. There may be better rockers out there, but for the price this is definitely a great buy.

              Right now I am using it to watch TV or read.

              I am expecting a new Granddaughter in June and another Grandchild in August. (Don't know whether it's a boy or girl yet)

                This chair is super comfortable and was great for the first year. Unfortunately, one month after the warranty was up, a screw kept coming undone, no matter how hard we tightened it.This is not acceptable for a chair that we paid [$](Can) for.

                Q1: Does this chair recline?

                A: The 6 position locking system does lock the chair in any one of six positions and those positions do recline the sitting position of the chair for comfort. It will not glide when it is locked into that "reclined" position.
